We go to Qdoba on weekends because of their fantastic kid's meal deals and good quality. If you compare them to Chipotle's flavor I would say it is a step down but there are some up sides you may want to consider: 1. The kid meals are large and only $1.75 with an adult meal on Sat and Sun up to 2 per adult meal. 2. There is now no additional charge for queso, guacamole, and fajita vegetables. Get all three if you want. 3. Their rewards program offers free entrees frequently. 4. Get free chips and large queso after every visit if you want to do the questionnaire. I go to the BA location and would agree that the service is a bit rushed and there isn't a huge feeling of warmth toward the guests but it isn't bad. I have never had them run out of anything as other Yelpers have stated either. If you haven't been in awhile give them a try again.

In the five or six times I've eaten here in the past two years, it's been the same story: 1) We enter to a line of 3-4 small groups of people, with 4-5 people working. 2) We wait a long time for what seems like it shouldn't take so long. 3) They're out of something (pulled pork, usually) 4) I take the up-charge for queso or whatever on a burrito. 5) They break the burrito and re-wrap it, leaving that queso on the old burrito. 6) The person on the register disappears. 7) I consider leaving, but don't want to be a jerk. 8) I pay and then eat my cold and underwhelming meal. For me, Qdoba has truly been a place that I keep going back to because... why? I don't know. There's certainly better TexMex to be had without what always feels like a frustrating experience. The final time I went in, the above happened again almost exactly. When I brought it up to the person at the register, they seemed entirely over it and frustrated themselves. I get it; I do. People complain and complaining people are irrational and expect you to go to great lengths. But for the cost- I expect a lot better than a young shift leader rolling their eyes at me.

Be patient and be prepared if you visit this place. During my visit there were 10 people in the restaurant and 4 people behind the counter. The employees seemed as though they couldn't handle that many customers at once and looked completely panicked. They asked for my order but did not listen to my requests. Unfortunately, I made them keep redoing the order until it was right. Inside and out it appears to be a great place. It's the service that needs some serious attention. I hope they make some changes in that area. Thankfully, I don't have to visit this location again to find out.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
